What a waste of money! We're never ever going back there again. We ordered 4 different meals. Our kids like Chinese food a lot so we can tell if the food is good or not with how they eat. They are not picky eaters when it comes to this type of food. Although, they served big portions, it doesn't compensate with the quality/taste. We'd rather have small portions with better tasting meals. We should've just ordered pizza.

Go every time to dine in for great Chinese food. Great atmosphere, owners and staff are excellent as well as the best food, and portions served is unreal.

This is a hometown favorite that's been around north augusta a long time. It's a family run business and you can tell they truly care about customers. Simon is usually up front taking orders. They have huge proportions and most their meals can easily feed two. Definitely try out their homemade egg rolls. They hand roll them and stuff them and fry them daily. I usually go with a traditional chicken and broccoli but they have many many selections to choose from.

Ambience. C Service. B Food. B- Price. A Many moons ago, this family run restaurant retrofit over a grocery store front. It's huge inside... And prepare for a hike to the rest room. It's the only one in a North Augusta township. The flavors are very familiar Chinese American Augusta style. Think lots of soy, salt and pepper flavors. The only flavor adventure tonight was the curry dish. The place looks very dated, old and dark. Service was friendly and quick. Well, there were only 2 waitresses and only 4 tables occupied when we entered. My friends eat here quite often as it's in their neighborhood. We had several dishes tonight for the 5 dining. Huge portions! Veggies are crunchy and look and taste fresh. Meats are tender and moist. Hot and Sour Soup- reminds me of typical vinegary and spicy soup. Like that they use the fungus in the soup. I added a lemon to give it some acid to smooth the flavors. Curry Beef - was really nice dark gravy curry flavored and sliced beef was tender. Mixed with gr. Peppers and onions. Ming Yat Special Lo Mein- was okay. Thick noodles stir fried with mixtures of veggies and meat. Eggrolls - were crispy thick and hot all the way through. Lots of cabbage, but good flavor. Chicken Broccoli combo with fried rice - huge portion- comes with fried rice and eggroll. - It's stir fried nicely and broccoli is crunchy. I like to add hot chili oil on the side for spicy taste and extra flavor. Mushrooms and Pork. This was disappointing as the dish is comprised of canned button mushrooms in brown gravy. You can actually still taste the can. It must have been an old can. However, the worst experience was: Chinese Spare Ribs with Black Bean Sauce. The pork was spoiled. One bite and I had to spit out. Learned from mgr. that the cooks were saving meat from previous days and mixing with new meats. Blech. Well, they just made us something else and mgmt. made sure to correct the kitchen in not saving old meat. You'd think after 30+ yrs in busines they should know by now. Most dishes under $9! If you like quantity, this place is for you. I'm sure you have your favorites. If I ever need a Chinese American food fix, I might consider dropping by if I'm in the area. Overall. Hmmm. Experience is okay and I would go back (only to keep my friends company) but the food , that's a different story. I'll just know to doctor my food with hot chili oils and lemon next time when dining.

This is the restaurant from MIB II, great food, big portions. My wife and I love this place and so do our kids. Don't listen to yokels about this place. It's the bees knees for Chinese.

Wasn't that great. First time here and I think it will probably be my last. My wife and I didn't feel too good after it.
